Actor Role Bio
Alex   Santoriello Sky Masterson Alex Santoriello is a professional actor, singer & producer best known for originating roles in three Broadway musicals: Les Miserables, Chess & Three Penny Opera; & as a producer on the Broadway musical,  A Tale of Two Cities.  He made his equity debut at the Paper Mill Playhouse & his New York debut at AMAS Repertory Theater. He played Gus the Theater Cat in a Broadway tour of Cats & Pontius Pilate in two major touring productions of Jesus Christ Superstar.  Alex produced & directed the world premiere of A Tale of Two Cities in concert at the Circle Theater in Indianapolis that included a cast of Broadway veterans along with Richard Kiley who narrated the action, a fifty-voice choir & a forty-piece orchestra.  Alex appeared in the TV soap opera All My Children & in the Academy Award nominated film Far From Heaven.  A successful concert career brought Alex to Barbados. After several returns Alex moved there & taught singing to young people & served as the first musical director of the Barbados National Boys Choir. He fronted the popular rock ‘n roll band “GetBak” & performed at over one-hundred charity events including the reopening of the historic Kensington Oval in Bridgetown & the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Gala. He founded Lexy Piano Bar, which was rated by Zagat as one of Barbados’ top five night spots.  Alex is a licensed commercial pilot, an active flight instructor & an avid sailor who has logged thousands of miles at sea.  Alex performed and worked with Sirs Sting, Cliff Richard, Tim Rice, Cameron Macintosh & Trevor Nunn; Benny Anderson & Bjorn Ulveaus (ABBA); John Caird, John Dexter, Andrew Wilk, John Lodge, Dennis Quaid, David Cassidy, Richard Kiley, Michael Crawford, Maureen McGovern, Georgia Brown, Ted Neeley, Carl Anderson, Colm Wilkinson, Claude Michel Schoenberg, Alain Boublil, John Clifton, Neil Berg & his sister Jill Santoriello.  Most recently Alex appeared in The Villages starring as Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha.
Jill Marrese Sarah Brown Jill enjoys singing and playing in many Villages musical groups. She is a member of the popular Palm Trio, local entertainment group, sings with the Villages Swing Band, and she plays bassoon, piano, and flute with the Villages Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and Flute Fanatics. In Villages Musical Theater productions, Jill has played Marian in Music Man, Julie in Carousel, Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly, as well as accompanying shows. A retired teacher, Jill does extensive work with and for children in our area.
John Rogerson Nathan Detroit Upon arriving in the Villages in 2002, John discovered a passion for musical theater. Guys and Dolls is his 14th production. His most recent roles include Harold Hill in Music Man, Billy in Carousel, Will Parker in Oklahoma, and Bob Wallace in White Christmas. John plays baritone horn and violin in the Villages Concert Band and Orchestra, sings with Brothers in Song and North Lake Church, and performs in numerous benefit concerts. He is grateful to work with such a wonderful cast and crew in this production.
Kathleen Kane Miss Adelaide Born in Philadelphia, PA, Kathleen Kane is known internationally as an artist. Her impressive and captivating talent along with an incredible passion for her audience exudes through her voice with a vocal range of Contralto, to Mezzo Soprano, which allows her to sing her genres of music including pop, contemporary, jazz, and Broadway. This vivacious entertainer has stunned and delighted countless audiences of all ages including performances at Disney World, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, and many other tourist attractions. One of her favorite places to perform is The Villages. Before moving to Florida, Kathleen began her career on the stages of off Broadway, on both the East and West coasts. This music is where her heart still lies. Kathleen Kane always embraces the journey and she knows the roads ahead are endless.
Tim Casey Nicely Nicely Johnson Tim grew up in the theater playing his first role in Teahouse of the August Moon at the tender age of 11.  “Up North” Tim performed the leads in Deathtrap, A Thurber Carnival and Dracula and appeared in a number of musicals including Guys and Dolls, Peter Pan, and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.  Recently in The Villages he has appeared  in  Les MiserablesCompany and as the Padre in Man of La Mancha.
Bob Brandoni Benny Southstreet Bob sings with the Village Voices, and the Pops chorus, and has appeared with many performing groups in the villages. He has had feature roles in Hello Dolly,  Brigadoon, Carousel, Music Man, Company, and Crazy For You, for the Villages Musical Theater group. He has been in many productions with Off Broadway Players, and Broadway Bound performing groups. He has also appeared at the Mellon Patch Theater in the musical 1776. Bob, pared with Shirley Martin in the duo “Just The 2 Of Us”, entertains for social groups here in the Villages.
Sam Rosalsky Rusty Charley Sam Rosalsky’s early theatrical experience began with the works of Gilbert and Sullivan in off-Broadway venues, and many rewarding experiences in community theater.  He has been seen most recently as Sancho in Man of La Mancha, Thenardier in Les Miserables, Laser Wolff in Fiddler On The Roof, Smee in Peter Pan, The Governor of Texas in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, Andrew Carnes in Oklahoma, Dr. Einstein in Arsenic And Old Lace, Mr. Bumble in Oliver, and the Sultan in Aladdin among many others. He has been active in all phases of the theater including acting, directing, stage managing, lighting design, and helping extensively with costuming, set design / construction, sound, promotion, and publicity.
Jim Beddia Arvid Abernathy Jim and his wife Jan moved to the Villages in 2007 and his theatrical career spans eight decades.  Jim’s favorite show is Guys and Dolls which he’s appeared in numerous times in a variety of parts.  Jim has won several acting awards and has been in three professional productions: Horace Vandergelder in Hello, Dolly, Daddy Warbucks in Annie, and Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. Scrooge is his favorite character. Jim has directed thirty-five shows  Jim has been President and/or board member off over a dozen theater groups. Backstage and behind the scenes Jim has worked voice-overs, props, set-designs etc.
Ken Robbins Harry the Horse Ken is originally from Queens, NY. He has lived in The Villages with his wife Judy for 14 years.  Back in NY, he performed in numerous community theater productions. His favorite roles were The King in The King and I and Fagin in Oliver.  During his time in The Villages, Ken has performed with The Villages Musical Theater Company, KC Productions, Broadway Bound Players, Starlight Players, just to name a few. His favorite role was Hysterium in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.  This will be the third time Ken has performed in Guys and Dolls.  He loved being Harry the Horse before and looks forward to reprising this role.
Robert Petrucelli Big Jule Bob has, previously, performed with: Broadway Bound Players, B & B Productions, M&M Productions, Lake Miona Theater, Shaka Crew Dance Company and the Villages Theater Company.  Most recently he appeared as Pedro in Man of La Mancha.  He is a board member of the VTC and has performed in many of their productions, the Shows To GO traveling Comedy show, as well as coordinating and performing in the Traveling Holiday Show, Mistletoe To Go. He is looking forward to being Big Jule.
Bren Keegan General Cartwright Bren started acting in high school & has continued through to the present day. Some of her favorite roles have been Mama Rose in Gypsy, Rev. Mother in Nunsense & Mother Abbess in Sound of Music.
Bill Krone Lt. Brannigan Bill is a former High School Principal from a suburb of Buffalo, New York, and the father of four including triplets who is appearing in his fourteenth Broadway musical in The Villages. 
  Previous roles in The Villages include Billy Flynn in Chicago, Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, Julian Marsh in 42nd Street, Jigger  in Carousel, Cliff in Cabaret, and most recently, Lank Hawkins in Crazy For You
.  Bill would like to express how honored he is to be performing  such a wonderful producer, director and cast. As always, Bill thanks his wife Martie for her continued love and support.
Gary Chubeck Angie the Ox, MC Gary has been in The Villages for the past five years.  He enjoys the active lifestyle and has reawakened his desire in the theater, performing with Villages Musical Theater, Questar Productions, Starlight Players, Showcase of Talent, just to name a few.  This is Gary’s first show with our group and Gary is very excited to join us.
Vic Stevens Joey Biltmore, Crapshooter Vic starting performing in Ohio just prior to retirement in community theatre in North Ridgeville.  He had major roles in two comedy farces Virgil’s Wedding and Let’s Hang em and Read the Will. He has also sang in two church bands over the years. Upon moving to the Villages, he was in the cast of Brigadoon and The Music Man with the Villages Musical Theatre Company. His first major role in the Villages was in the comedy Breaking Legs in which he played Professor Terrance O’Keefe with the Villages Theatre Company in Spring 2015.
Glenn De Forge Scranton Slim Since arriving in The Villages in 2007, Glenn appeared in Bus Stop, Crimes of the Heart, and Squabbles with the VTC. As a member of the VMC he joined the casts of OKLAHOMA!, Carousel, Brigadoon, and Music Man, and Man of La Mancha.   He appreciates being able to learn and grow from each new stage experience.
Tom Heim Crapshooter, Tom is originally from the Harrisburg, PA area. He and his wife, Gloria, moved to The Villages about a year and a half ago. Guys and Dolls will be Tom’s first performance in The Villages. The acting/singing bug hit Tom later in his life. About 8 years ago, he started performing in Christmas and Easter dramas at his mega church in Camp Hill , PA. He acted, sang, and danced in all of these dramas for 7 years.. Tom is very excited about performing with the very talented ensemble of Guys and Dolls. He sings in the choir at New Covenant U M Church in The Villages and he loves all sports.
John Lorinc Crapshooter John, a native of Pittsburgh, moved to The Villages in 2010.  He’s had minor roles in, and been in the chorus of, a number of Village productions, including Man of La Mancha, Oklahoma, Hello Dolly, Carousel, and Fiddler on the Roof.  Other activities include Softball, Billiards, Pops Chorus, and Karaoke.
John Turner Crapshooter John performed in high school as “Charlie” in Annie Get Your Gun and various community theaters and the FT Knox Military Theater. He moved to The Villages in 2013 and performed in Man of La Mancha, Les Miserables and Christmas Spectacular this year. He is member of Dance Fusion.
Howard Kirschenbaum Ensemble Howard moved to The Villages eleven years ago with his wife Sue. He was last seen as Jose in Man of La Mancha at the Savannah center. Some of his previous roles include Babet in Les Miserable, Indian Jones in Indiana Jones and the Search for the Temple of Shalom at Temple Shalom, as Alf Scrag in Little Abner at Parker Playhouse, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., The Scare Crow in a Halloween show in Weston, Fl.
Mike Hassett Brandy Bottle Bates, Waiter Mike and his wife Carol retired last year, and moved from Pennsylvania to The Villages this past January.   Mike performed in a variety of roles in Hello Dolly, Annie and Jesus Christ Superstar in the late 1990s at the Greensburg Theatre in Pennsylvania.  Mike is excited about restarting his musical theatre career here in The Villages.
Jeremy Reynolds The Greek Jeremy has been in productions ever since high school where he was a member of the Thespian Honor Society. He appeared in a comic opera called The Push Button Bride as Hilarius the Doll Maker. In The Villages, this is his third show He was a sailor in Anything Goes, and in the chorus in The Pajama Game. He is a barbershop singer and is a member of The Village Voices and the Philharmonic Chorale.
Stan Martin Cuban Dancer Stanley Martin from Indianapolis, Indiana  has been a Villagers for 19 years. Had no experience and never dreamed he would be on stage in front of people.Friends took him to Marshall NC and saw local cloggers and thought it might be fun. Joined the Cloghoppers in The Villages which led to tap and other types of dance. Is a member of Dance Fusion and performed in several Musicals. Mame, Annie Get Your Gun, Brigadoon, Chicago, and White Christmas.Loves playing pickleball.
Charlie Messinger Cuban Dancer Charlie moved to the Villages 4 years ago from Cincinnati Ohio. He has been playing a lot of golf and softball but his number one favorite thing is line dancing with the R /B Club. This will be his first musical.
Vince Morris Cuban Dancer Vince’s first exposure to theatre was the lead (as Peter Pan) in a community production in Poughkeepsie, NY, at the age of 12. He has performed in the college drama guild (Julia B. Duncan Players) in college. During his 35 year career with Aetna, was part of the cast in Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Camelot. Also has performed with the Hartford Chorale and for 28 years with the Alfred E. White Chorale in HARTFORD, CT. Moved to The Villages in 2007 and has been a frequent soloist with Brothers In Song for the since 2008. Vince also was part of the cast for the Broadway Bound Players production of Motown Magic in The Villages in November 2013.
Darlene Lansing Ensemble Darlene hails from St.Louis. MO and she and her husband retired here 3 years ago.  She has the reputation of ‘the energizer bunny’ from her
neighbors and friends. This is her debut performance on stage having previously worked behind the scenes as the hairstylist for 20 plus years for ‘STAGES ST. LOUIS’ a professional theatre group in Kirkwood, Mo.  She appreciates the dedication and talent required for a production. Darlene has dabbled in community theatre, dancing and singing, participated in choir at church, and in general enjoys entertainment of all kinds.  While participating in a workshop for Encore she was invited to join the ensemble for Guys n Dolls.   This was a big THRILL and she is excited to be part of this amazing cast and crew. Darlene sends a huge thank you to Alex and would also like to thank her family and friends for encouraging her to pursue her passion for the stage.
Ellie Lemke Ensemble A member and Stage Manager with The Way Off Broadway Traveling Show and chorus member for its predecessor, The WOB Mini Chorus.  Ellie had the lead in The Happy Journey to Trenton and Camden with The Villages Theater Company.  A wife in The King and I, a production by Maestro Bill Doherty and the Central Florida Opera.
Barbara O’Brien Ensemble Guys and Dolls is Barbara’s first acting experience in an Encore Broadway style production.  She has written and directed several Starlight and Off-Broadway musicals.  Directing classes with Alex Santoriello and Dan Esposito  were invaluable and led Barbara to the experience of  co-directing Same Time, Next Year and directing the one act play Please Have a Seat.
Linda Bitterly Hot Box Girl What a thrill to be working with this wonderful production to cap memories of musical performed in The Villages  Eighteen years of basic training  as a child plus classes here helped pave the way.
Sara Kallioinen Hot Box Girl Sara Kallioinen has generally been behind the scenes as a rehearsal pianist or with a live orchestra in such shows as Chicago, White Christmas, and A Chorus Line.  She made her stage debut as ‘Kit Kat’ girl, “Lulu” in Cabaret, and most recently was a cast member in Les Miserables.   She has danced in numerous shows, now with ‘Dance Synergy’ and plays keyboard for Dawn DiNome & the Flashback band.
Johanna McKeever Hot Box Girl Johanna started dancing in front of the TV at age one. Then on to tap, jazz and ballet and settling on ballet in a big way. Through out her 20’s and 30’s and BC (Before Children) she danced and choreographed with many community theatre groups. AD (After delivery) her stage time was severely curtailed. Once retired as a school teacher, Johanna and husband Bob moved to “The Bubble” where she started dancing again after a 26 year hiatus. Yoga and ballet classes and round and square dancing and all types of ballroom dancing with her husband of 47 years allow her to dance every day. This show is a blast and she’s having the time of her life!
Laurie Scheben Hot Box Girl Laurie has lived in The Villages for the past 5 years She is originally from New York state. She works full time, yet tries to squeeze in as many Villages stage productions as she can.  Laurie has performed with KC Productions in Cabaret , Les Miserables and Man of La Mancha, with Questar in White Christmas, Andrew Lloyd Weber-The Magic and The Music & The 2015 Christmas Spectacular,  and in Songs For The Soul, Dueling Divas, The Celebrants, Dance Fusion and with her own Dance Synergy.
Vanita Turner Hot Box Girl Vanita is a native Floridian and a 2 year Villager. A veteran thespian for over 30 years. She has performed with Questar, KC Productions including Les Miserables and  Man of La Mancha. She loves dancing and performing with Dance Fusion group.
Mia Reeves  Hot Box Girl Mia has been acting for over 25 years in stage, screen and film, both in NYC and Washington, DC. Representative roles include several times of playing Aldonza in “Man of LaMancha”, Beauty in a national tour of “Beauty and the Beast”, “Lady Macbeth”, Rosalind in “As You Like It” in an off-Broadway production, Queen of the Night in “The Magic Flute”, Morales in “A Chorus Line”, Lily in “The Secret Garden”, and Julie in “Showboat”, as well as a wanna-be-cheerleader in the film “The Replacements”. In the Villages, she has performed several times in the Showcase of Talent, and played the Factory Girl in “Les Miserables”, Sarah in “Company”, and performed with and directed for the Off Broadway Players. She is a published author, having three books and a chapter in a textbook (“Death and Bereavement in the World’s Religions”) still in publication. She is currently working on two novels and a short story, and writes at least one poem a day.
George Rutkoskie Calvin the trumpet player This is George’s  first performance with KC and Pro-Am.  He has been playing the Cornet off and on since 1952 and currently plays with 4 different groups in The Villages.
Janet Landry Mission Band A native St. Louisan, Janet came to The Villages in 2015, and immediately began to rediscover her long-time passion for the theater. As a member of VTC and VMTC, she made her Villages debut in TILL BETH DO US PART and has tried her hand as a crew member for THE CURIOUS SAVAGE.  Back in STL, she works the Hospitality Desk at STAGES professional theater. Before that time, Janet could be found performing daily for captivated (and CAPTIVE) audiences as an elementary educator.  Janet would like to thank her husband Mike for his loving support and her daughters for their inspiration!
Glorianne Lowe Mission Band Glorianne is a new member of Encore Productions and has been entertaining in The Villages since moving here in 2006.  She brings prior experience from the International Champion Barbershop Sweet Adeline show chorus “Toast of Tampa” as well as many years in amateur theater including the role of “Yenta” in a production of Fiddler On The Roof presented at MIT in Cambridge, Mass.  In addition to Encore, Glorianne is currently the Assistant Director for Starlight Players upcoming show Into The Night.  If you love music of the 50/60’s then make sure you see a show with Glorianne as she performs with a Villages favorite Doo Wop group, “Forever Young”.
Bobbi Steele-Marotta Mission Band Bobbi brings over 50 years of experience in acting in Community Theater Musical Comedies from MA, MI, NH and the last 5 years right here in the Villages.  Bobbi has starred in major leading roles such asDolly – Hello Dolly, Adelaide – Guys and Dolls, Nellie – South Pacific, Annie –Annie get your Gun, Marian – Music Man, Tuptim – King & I.  Other Musical Comedy’s Kiss Me Kate, My Fair Lady, CamelotForum, Carousel, Music Man and Brigadoon.  Bobbi is the Co-founder of ‘Arts-In-Motion’ Community Theater Group in North Conway, NH and was instrumental in the formation of their Children’s Summer Theater Camp Program.  She is currently a member of 5 performing Arts Groups in the Villages.  Bobbi says she is loving every minute of the fun she is having with her “Theater Family/Friends” she has had the honor of making over the last 5 years.  The most rewarding part of all the time and experience is knowing that the performances are fund raisers for other non-profit organizations in need that will benefit from the productions.
Michele Topolnicki Mission Band Michele Topolnicki is best known as a chorale singer, and appeared in both Man of La Mancha and Les Miserables.  She is also a charter member of The Villages Pops Chorus.  While living in Virginia Beach, VA, she performed in the Doorway Singers, primarily for a cappella Victorian Christmas Carols, but also including period costumed repertoires of Medieval, Colonial, Old Virginia, Sea Shanty, 40’s, 50’s, Broadway and Celtic music.

Broadway Style Productions in The Villages
